A fixed-price service at £35 for a three-hour slot. You can buy as many slots as you like! Just bear in mind that I'll have to use some of the time reading your work and considering your query. It's really designed for queries on short sections.

Critique
The cost will vary depending on the length of the manuscript:

Up to 2,000 words: £50
Up to 5,000 words: £75
Up to 10,000 words: £95
Up to 15,000 words: £115
Up to 25,000 words: £145
Up to 40,000 words: £185
Up to 60,000 words: £215
Up to 80,000 words: £255
Up to 100,000 words: £285
Up to 120,000 words: £315
Up to 140,000 words: £345

Developmental Editing
The cost of developmental editing depends on several factors. Please contact me and let me have a sample of your work. I will then be able to provide you with a quote, which will not place you under any obligation at all.

Copy-editing
My charges are generally £11.00 per 1000 words (or part thereof).

Proofreading
My charges are generally £9.00 per 1000 words (or part thereof).


Please note that there is a minimum charge of £30. I accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal. For PayPal, the transaction fee may be added to the invoice.

I'll ask for a sample of your work before confirming the rate. If, when I receive the complete document, the work cannot be completed within the pricing structure indicated I'll let you know straight away. I'll explain the position and offer you a quotation.

I do understand that it's hard waiting for feedback on the manuscript you've poured your creative passion into, I do. How long it takes to complete your work depends on the nature and content of the document and on how quickly you need it returning. Although I believe that thoroughness is more important than speed, I'll always do my best to accommodate you if an urgent deadline is looming.
